This session will serve as introduction to influencer marketing where I’ll discuss what is influencer marketing, how to identify influencer partners and how to effectively utilize them in your marketing strategies.
Kristin Hutchinson is the Director of Talent and Influencer Relations at 2 Degrees Ventures. Throughout her career, Kristin’s had the pleasure of executing top-tier marketing campaigns that speak to both the general and multicultural market. After graduation from Howard University, she began her career at Allied Integrated Marketing where she was responsible for leading the NY marketing and PR efforts for STXFilms, Lionsgate, Warner Brothers and Netflix. During her tenure, she successfully managed film and television campaigns targeting the AA audience for titles, such as The Fate of Furious and Hidden Figures. Kristin has proven to be skilled in talent and brand integration, event management, grassroots promotions, media relations and digital influencer marketing.
After her time at Allied, she transitioned over to United Entertainment Group where she led the influencer and celebrity partnerships for clients such as Suave, Vaseline and Emerge. In her new role, she continues to use innovative influencer marketing strategies for both earned and paid programs to promote her client’s brand and their initiatives.
Kristin is a graduate of Howard University’s Business School.
